In botany, are mostly small species to 13 species group Oe. biennis agg. (Aggregate) grouped together because of these very closely related and very similar, and therefore are difficult to distinguish. With them is artgewordene hybrids that stay with a special mechanism cytogenetic (Komplexheterozygotie) hereditary constant.
The species group includes: Oe. biennis, Oe. suaveolens, Oe. deflexa, Oe. carinthiaca, Oe. erythrosepala, Oe. salicifolia, Oe. canovirens, Oe. pycnocarpa, Oe. heiniana, Oe. rubricaulis, Oe. wienii, Oe. fallax, Oe. hoelscheri.
